Khalid Garousha

Khalid Garousha is an Interim Global Managing Partner in the Abu Dhabi office of Allen & Overy LLP. He is an English qualified solicitor and has been practicing law in the Middle East since 2000. Khalid specializes in corporate and corporate finance work and has significant expertise in international and regional transactions in the Middle East.

Khalid specialises in general corporate and corporate finance work, including international equity offerings, IPOs, joint ventures, private equity work and cross-border mergers and acquisitions. Khalid is highly experienced in regional M&A and ECM transactions. He fully understands the regional culture and the most effective way to structure local transactions. 

Khalid was recently ranked in Band 1 by Chambers Global 2022 across four separate categories: corporate/commercial (UAE), capital markets (UAE), corporate/commercial
(Middle East) and capital markets (Middle East). Khalid acts as a governor on the GCC Board Directors Institute, a regional corporate governance institution which seeks to
influence the implementation of the highest levels of corporate governance across the region. 

Prior to moving out to the Middle East, Khalid practiced law in London for five years.
