Douglas O’Mahony

Douglas is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland with over twenty three years of audit experience, nineteen of which have been spent in Dubai.

Douglas has significant experience in auditing large, complex holding companies with significant overseas operations. Douglas has led the audits of Emirates Airlines, Emirates National Oil Company, and Shelf Drilling Ltd, all of whom involves extensive coordination of overseas auditors and close interaction with senior board members.

He has specialised in the Energy, Utilities and Mining industry with extensive experience in upstream and downstream audits including production sharing arrangements, concessions and buy backs. Douglas has significant UK listed company experience with Lamprell Plc and Dragon Oil Plc in addition to capital market experience as the reporting accountant on rights issues and bond placements.
