Ahmed Alumar

Ahmed currently holds the position of Vice President of Global Mergers & Acquisitions and Board Affairs. He is responsible for all global merger and acquisition deals, and SABIC’s external growth and strategy from initiation of deals to the execution of transactions. In addition he is serving as SABIC Corporate Secretary leading a board affairs team looking after SABIC boards and its committees. Prior to this, Ahmed was the Vice President of Global M&A and Joint Venture Affairs where aside from SABIC global M&A activities, he also oversee SABIC’s interest in all its global 200+ entities including JVs and wholly owned entities. He also manage all JV agreements, renewals of existing JVs, managing partners’ relations, JVs governance and control framework. Ahmed has an Executive MBA from King Fahad University of Petroleum and a Bachelor in Business Administration from King Abdulaziz University. He is also a Certified Board Director since 2019.
